9. Do not push your work piece too hard against the saw
blades. These blades are for delicate use. Therefore it
is important that the blade has time to cut the materials.
Excessive pressure on the work piece will result in early
blade snapping.
10. Before beginning work on your project, make a few practice
cuts on scrap material.
HAND-HELD MODE
1. Keep pressing the Quick Release Button while detaching the
Moto-Saw unit from its base. PICTURE 13
2. Once the tool is detached, the Moto-Saw can be held in your
hand. PICTURE 14
3. While cutting in hand-held mode, make sure you have a firm
grip on the tool. PICTURE 14
4. Try to line up the unit’s surface against the bottom of your
work piece to reduce vibration. PICTURE 15

MAINTENANCE
Preventive maintenance performed by unauthorized personnel
may result in misplacing of internal wiring and components which
could cause serious hazard. We recommend that all tool service
be performed by a Dremel Service Facility. To avoid injury from
unexpected starting or electrical shock, always remove plug from
wall outlet before performing service or cleaning.
CLEANING

TO AVOID ACCIDENTS, ALWAYS
DISCONNECT THE TOOL AND/OR
CHARGER FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE CLEANING. The
tool can be cleaned most effectively with compressed dry air. Always
wear safety goggles when cleaning tools with compressed air.
Ventilation openings and switch levers must be kept clean and
free of foreign matter. Do not attempt to clean the tool by inserting
pointed objects through an opening.

CERTAIN CLEANING AGENTS AND
SOLVENTS DAMAGE PLASTIC PARTS.
Some of these are: gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated
cleaning solvents, ammonia and household detergents that contain
ammonia.

power source before servicing.
